Law Clerk – Litigation

Evangelista; Barristers & Solicitors is a boutique litigation law firm in the heart of the financial district in downtown Toronto. We are a distinguished law firm that specializes in litigation, advocacy and risk management.

We are seeking a senior law clerk to join our team.

Job Description

  • Full-time position,
  • Hybrid work environment located in downtown Toronto,

The ideal candidate should have the following:

  • a Law Clerk Diploma/Certificate
  • a minimum of 10 plus years of experience,
  • excellent written and oral communication skills,
  • strong organizational and time management skills,
  • ability to multitask and meet deadlines,
  • a team player who is self-motivated and driven,
  • familiarity with Primafact, ACL, Adobe and Zoom would be an asset.

Key tasks for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • drafting legal documents,
  • preparing legal memoranda,
  • summarizing documents,
  • preparing correspondence,
  • managing calendars,
  • scheduling court dates,
  • conducting searches.
