Margaret Shanahan

Margaret graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1990 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1992. She began her legal career at a mid-sized litigation firm in downtown Toronto, where she later became partner.

In 1999, Margaret left private practice to take the position of Chief Litigation Counsel for Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company. As C.L.C., she was responsible for overseeing the practice of the lawyers working across Canada in the In-House Litigation Department of Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company.

In 2001, Margaret joined with Andrew to create Evangelista, Barristers & Solicitors. Margaret oversees the administrative and operational functions for the firm.

Margaret is a member of the Ontario Bar Association and the Law Society of Ontario, and a Board Member for the Oakville Rangers Hockey Club.
