Deema Elshourfa
Deema graduated from Western Law School in 2014. She articled at a litigation firm in Toronto before being called to the Ontario Bar in 2015. Deema continued her legal career where she articled until June, 2018, at which time she joined Evangelista, Barristers & Solicitors.
While a student at Western Law School, Deema was President of the Gender and the Law Association and the recipient of the Diana Majury - Cheryl Waldrum Award.
Deema is a pragmatic and effective advocate for her client and understands the importance of timely resolution, where appropriate. Her creative and considerate approach to each matter have been paramount to her success both in and out of the courtroom.
Deema has appeared before the Small Claims Court and the Superior Court of Justice. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Toronto Lawyers Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
Deema is a food enthusiast and loves to travel.
