Alannah Maunder
Alannah graduated from Bond University with a Juris Doctor in 2019. While at Bond University, she participated in moot competitions and volunteered with the Southport Magistrates Court. She was also a Marketing Team Leader for Bond University’s 180 Degrees Consulting where she worked with students from various disciplines on projects for non-profit organizations in order to improve their social impact.
Alannah has experience with both plaintiff and defence litigation. She articled with a personal injury law firm in Barrie before being called to the Bar in 2021. She transitioned to a defence litigation law firm downtown Toronto where she gained invaluable knowledge about insurance defence prior to joining Evangelista, Barristers & Solicitors in December 2022.
Alannah is detail-oriented and passionate about obtaining the best outcome for her clients. She has appeared before the Superior Court, Small Claims Court, Provincial Offences Court and License Appeal Tribunal. She is a member of the Canadian Defence Lawyers, Women’s Law Association of Ontario and the Medico-Legal Society of Toronto.
She enjoys running and participates in multiple races each year to support various charities.
